Let us pray for the people affected by the earthquake in Tibet

At 9:05 a.m. today, a 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck Dingri County in Shigatse, Tibet, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers. The county seat of Dingri and its surrounding areas experienced strong tremors, and many houses near the epicenter have collapsed. According to a live report from The Paper, 36 people have been confirmed dead so far. As of 10 a.m. today, multiple aftershocks have been recorded, the largest being magnitude 4.4.

Tragically, in the face of this natural disaster, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) continues to withhold information. Official reports currently state only 9 deaths, while most previous reports mentioning 36 casualties are being gradually deleted. Ironically, Xinhua News Agency (China’s official media) later adopted the figure of 36 deaths.

Let us pray for those who lost their lives and those affected by this earthquake.
